Academic year: May to November and September to March.
Admission requirements. Foreign students with the Cambridge Overseas Higher School Certificate or equivalent qualifications are eligible to apply to be considered for admission as regular or non-graduating students at the University of Malaya. Graduates with degrees from universities recognized by the University Senate can also apply to read for higher degrees at this university.
Immigration requirements. Foreign students must have a visa and depending on the country of origin a student pass (not allowed to work). Amedical check up is required.
Language proficiency required. The language of instruction is Bahasa Malaysia with some courses in English.
Monetary unit: ringgit Malaysia (RM).
